Step 1
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.

In another bowl, cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy using a mixer.
Step 3
Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
Step 4
Gradually mix in the eggnog, followed by the dry ingredients. Continue until a smooth dough forms.
Step 5
Use a medium cookie scoop to form 2-tablespoon-sized dough balls.
Step 6
Place the dough balls 2 inches apart on the baking sheets. Flatten each with the bottom of a glass sprayed with non-stick spray to about 1/2 inch thickness.
Step 7
Whisk powdered sugar and eggnog until smooth.
Step 8
Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cookies and let it set for 15 minutes. Cookies can be stacked after one hour.
