Export 2 ingredients for grocery delivery
Step 1
Start out by cooking your apple slices on low in a pot with a little bit of water. Cook for about 10 mins or until the apples are soft.
Step 2
Roll out the puff pastry into two large rectangles, about 14"x 10" (ish), and slice each rectangle into six smaller rectangles.
Step 3
One set of six rectangles will be your danish "bases" and one will be the "tops". Slice three small slits in six top pieces. Place the base pieces on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Step 4
Place about 8 thin slices of cooked apple in the middle of each base piece of pastry, or as many as you can fit while still leaving a 1/4" space around the edges of the pastry.
Step 5
Sprinkle a bit of the sugar over the apples.
Step 6
Top each apple-covered base piece with a top piece of pastry and pinch all around the edges to hold the apples in.
Step 7
Sprinkle a bit more of the sugar over top of each assembled danish.
Step 8
Bake for 20 mins at 400 degrees. Enjoy!
