Step 1
Preheat oven per cinnamon roll package instructions. Mine was at 400 Fahrenheit
Step 2
In a sauce pan, melt the butter over medium low heat until it bubbles and turns amber in color, remove from the heat inmediately. It will yield 1/2 cup of melted butter
Step 3
In a bowl, add the brown sugar and cinnamon and pour half of the butter (about 1/4 cup). Reserve the other half for the icing.
Step 4
Place the cinnamon rolls in the baking dish and pour the heavy cream. Then add the butter and sugar mixture on top of the rolls and spread evenly
Step 5
Bake the rolls per package instructions. I baked mine for 18 minutes.
Step 6
While the rolls bake, make the icing by combining the cream cheese, confectioners sugar and brown butter in a bowl and using a hand mixer, beat it until creamy
Step 7
Add the icing to the cinnamon rolls after they are out of the oven and cool down for a couple of minutes
Step 8
Serve the rolls and enjoy
