Ingredients: 3 tbsp. reduced-sodium soy sauce; 1 tbsp. sriracha; 1 tbsp. toasted sesame oil; 1 tsp. extra-virgin olive oil; 2 tbsp. pure maple syrup; 2 tsp. smoked paprika; 1 tsp. five-spice powder; 2 cloves garlic, minced or grated; 1 (14-oz.) block extra firm tofu, prepped and cut as desired

This sweet-savory tofu marinade is filled with pantry staples, and reminds us of barbecue sauce with a spicy kick.

tbsp. reduced-sodium soy sauce

sesame oil

extra-virgin olive oil

tbsp. maple syrup

smoked paprika

five-spice powder

In a medium bowl, whisk together all ingredients except tofu. Place tofu in an even layer in a baking dish, or in a resealable plastic bag. Pour marinade over tofu.

Marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or up to 1 day, turning occasionally. Prepare as desired.
