Export 7 ingredients for grocery delivery
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190°C).
Step 2
Grease a 15 x 10-inch jelly-roll pan with butter, shortening, or coconut oil and line it with parchment paper.
Step 3
Mix the flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl. Set aside.
Step 4
Combine the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl. Beat with a hand mixer or paddle attachment until light and fluffy.
Step 5
Add the first egg, and mix well. Then, add the second egg, and mix well.
Step 6
Pour the flour mixture into the bowl, and mix with a spatula until almost fully incorporated. Then, add the chocolate chips and nuts and stir just until you no longer see streaks of flour.
Step 7
Spread the mixture into the jelly-roll pan and bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit until the cookies are golden brown. (Approximately 20 to 25 minutes.)
Step 8
Remove the pan from the oven, and place it on a wire rack to cool. When cold, cut it into bars and serve!
