A vegan-friendly easy-to-make yummy sandwich.

Tomato Avocado Sandwich

avocado

garlic salt

ciabatta bread

tomato

black pepper

Mix mashed avocado and garlic salt together in a bowl; spread onto ciabatta bread. Layer tomatoes over avocado and top with black pepper.


1 teaspoon of garlic salt is a bit much for 1/2 of an avocado. I used the garlic salt to taste and lightly toasted the ciabatta. This is definitely worth making again and again.

This was very good. I added a bit of lemon to keep the avocado from browning and to give it a bit of a tangy flavor. I used Italian bread slices and it was very good. For additional flavor, I toasted my slices with a bit of olive oil. YUM!!

Absolutely delicious! The avocado dulls the tomato, yet still adds much taste to the sandwich!! Fantastic lunch or breakfast, and incredibly simple for those who don't have a knack for cooking.

A refreshing treat! I used nutritional yeast instead of garlic salt. Thank you for the recipe.

Love it, but I chopped up basil and added that to the mashed avocados.

this is better with very thinly sliced tomatoes, provolone cheese and real  bacon bits sprinkled on top

Make a version of this for breakfast, melt some cheddar or whatever you like on the toast, spread the the avocado on toast, place tomatoes on top
and top off with a fried egg - yum.

1 tsp of garlic salt was way too much. Had to throw out. Probably meant garlic powder or a sprinkling of garlic salt

No changes to recipe.  My 25 yr old vegan Granddaughter was over for a visit so I made it for her, she loved it &amp; I kinda liked it myself

I didn't have the bread so I subbed it with whole wheat bread. And instead of three slices of tomatoes I only had two. Other than that, it is absolutely delicious. Will definitely be making it again. Yummmmm
