Step 1
Prep: Heat a nonstick large skillet or griddle to medium heat. Spread BOTH sides of each slice of bread generously with the garlic spread dip. Note: Use about 1 tbsp per side for a rich, garlicky flavor. For less garlic flavor, just use the garlic spread on the inside and use butter or olive oil on the outside.
Step 2
Cook: Place two slices of bread on your skillet or griddle. Top each piece with cheese. Place the remaining two slices of bread on top. Cook the sandwiches for about 2-3 minutes on one side- or until golden brown. Then flip, and cook on the other side until golden brown and all the cheese is nicely melted. Tip: if your cheese isn’t melting well, place a lid or baking sheet over your skillet for a minute or so.
Step 3
Finish: Cut each sandwich in half and serve.
