Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Line a your baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.

Using an electric mixer, Cream together softened butter and sugars.

Step 3

Mix in eggs on low speed until combined.

Step 4

Mix in vanilla extract and Vanilla Crown Royal.

Step 5

Sift together flour, baking soda, cocoa and salt, and add to the wet ingredients mixing until combined.

Step 6

Using a 1 Tablespoon sized cookie scoop, form cookie dough balls, and roll them in vanilla sugar.

Step 7

Place cookie dough balls 2" apart onto the prepared cookie sheet.

Step 8

Bake for approximately 11 minutes. Don't over bake or the cookies won't be soft in the middle.

Step 9

Cool on rack.

Step 10

Store in an airtight container. These cookies freeze really well, too!
