Step 1

Heat a medium to large saute pan over medium-high heat and melt your vegan butter.

Step 2

When the butter has melted, add your chopped apples, stir (or toss) to coat, and cover. Let it cook like this for 5 minutes.

Step 3

Then, add the sugar, cinnamon, and water. Cover and let them cook for another 7 minutes or until soft, stirring often.

Step 4

Serve these warm cinnamon apples hot either on their own or used to top everything from pancakes and waffles to ice cream and oatmeal. They also make a great side dish.
