Step 1

Let's start by preparing our garlic and shallots. Mince about 3 pieces of garlic, and 1 shallot.

Step 2

If you are using pork butt, slice into thin slices about 1/4" thick. Pro Tip- If you freeze the meat for 30 minutes before slicing it will be easier to make thin cuts. You can also use thin pork chops with the bone in, or ask your butcher to slice it for you too.

Step 3

Combine the following ingredients with the pork and set aside for at least 10 minutes. The flavors will be even more amazing if you marinate overnight!

Step 4

Preheat your Air fryer to 400F and cook for 10 minutes and flip halfway. If you are using thin pork chops, you may need 15 minutes cook time. For a little extra char cook an additional 1-3 minutes.

Step 5

Preheat your pan to medium high and add oil. Cook the Pork in small batches for 2-3 minutes on each side. If you are using pork chops cook for 4-5 minutes per side depending on the thickness of the chop.

Step 6

Preheat Oven to 375, cook for 10-15 minutes and then broil for 1-2 minutes. Watch closely for burning. For Pork chops cook about 15 minutes and flip halfway. Broil for 1-2 minutes.

Step 7

Wash and slice your scallions (Green parts only) , Place into a heat safe bowl.

Step 8

Heat up oil in a pan for about 1 minute on medium heat

Step 9

Carefully pour the oil over your sliced scallions, mix well

Step 10

Let cool 5 minutes and add your sugar and salt

Step 11

Garnish over your grilled pork
