Love this recipe I have used it for years

This earned all thumbs up from my family. I only used 1 cup of sugar and it turned out well, a nice appley, lemony acidity balanced with the richness of the custard. Super easy and has an elevated appearance, would bring to a dinner party (and call it something else haha)

Couldn’t get my recipe which is down away from me in the family home. But I needed some of this in my urban quarantine and this recipe hit the spot!

This is a pie handed down in my family for 6 generations !      Naturally, we all love it.

I know it sounds odd, but it is a really good pie. It's also quite easy to put together with ingredients typically on hand. It's simple but tasty!

I have been making this pie for years. It is fantastic! While warm it is reminiscent of a lemon pie, yet when cooled it reminds me of a buttermilk pie. Either way its delicious!

My 10 year old daughter made this pie for the first time.  It was surprisingly good.  Will make it again and may cut back on the sugar.  Two out of three of us thought it was a little sweet.

I liked this pie, although it had an unusual taste and consistency. Recipe doesn&#39;t specify how to tell when done, but I took a chance and guessed correctly.
