Add all dry ingredients to a bowl and mix well

Step 2

Add all other ingredients to a pan

Step 3

Whisk in the dry ingredients

Step 4

Slowly heat to 83C/181F while stirring

Step 5

Transfer to a high speed blender and run on high for 1 minute

Step 6

Transfer to a zip-lock bag and chill in ice water

Step 7

Age in fridge overnight or at least four hours

Step 8

Strain into your ice cream machine and churn

Step 9

Transfer to a container

Step 10

Optional. Add crushed walnuts to taste

Step 11

Freeze

Step 12

Roast the walnuts on a tray in a 150C/300F oven for 12 minutes

Step 13

Mix in a blender to make a fine paste
