Paige says July 19, 2016 at 7:20 pm I’ve been in a cooking rut lately and was so happy to find this post. Thank you for the great tips and recipes. Went to the store today and stocked up on your suggestions. Feeling inspired! Good luck on your job search! Reply Marin Mama says August 17, 2016 at 6:33 am Hi Paige! Thanks so much for your super sweet comment. I’m so happy that you stocked up! I hope it helped you have a weeks worth of salads. Thanks for your sweet note about the job search, I actually found a job and that’s why I haven’t been on the blog in a bit. It’s a bit of a transition working again, and I’m just trying to figure out the whole balancing act! Have a great week and thanks for saying hi! Reply Jill says June 13, 2016 at 5:49 pm I absolutely love this post! I’ve been wanting to get a jump on a healthier summer eating routine, but didn’t know where to start! This post came at the perfect time and has so many tips and great ideas! I roasted up some beets today and made a batch of quinoa! Going to try your hemp seed dressing tonight! Couldn’t find baby kale at the market, so picked up some arugula! Can’t wait to make my family and I a salad tonight! Reply Marin Mama says June 13, 2016 at 5:49 pm Hi Jill! Yay! I’m so happy you found this post helpful, and that you already got started on roasting up some beets and making quinoa. So proud of you girl! Once you start getting into a weekly meal prep routine, you’ll find that it really makes it that much easier to eat healthy during the busy work week. I hope you all love the hemp seed dressing. I made up a batch on Saturday, and I was so happy! It has a great nutty flavor to it, and pairs perfectly with arugula. By the way, I couldn’t find baby kale either this weekend, so I picked up arugula as well, because it’s similar in taste and texture. Thanks for saying hi and sharing! xoxo, Jacquelyn Reply gatherweekly says June 13, 2016 at 10:57 am perfect for summer, and so true about the prep work-may seem laborious but so worth the effort! Reply Marin Mama says June 13, 2016 at 5:42 pm Hi Caroline! You’re the QUEEN of meal prep girl! I salivate each time I see one of your Instagram posts! I loved your Instagram post on the melons, and how to tell which ones are ripe. I’m always unsure about that xoxo, Jacquelyn Reply Julia says June 11, 2016 at 3:47 pm Awesome post Jacquelyn! Great advice that I will implement today!! My greens have now been saved!! Reply Marin Mama says June 13, 2016 at 5:43 pm Hi Melissa! Yay! I’m so happy that my little tip helped you! I hope now that your greens end up in your tummy and not the compost xoxo, Jacquelyn Reply
