Step 1
to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. This ensures that the dry ingredients are evenly distributed.

In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and light brown sugar until light and fluffy. This should take about 2-3 minutes.
