Ingredients: 1 8-inch whole-wheat tortilla; 2 tablespoons hummus; ¼ avocado, mashed; 1 cup sliced fresh vegetables of your choice; 2 tablespoons shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

Use whichever veggies you have on hand to fill up this veggie wrap. The avocado and hummus help hold the wrap together--and provide heart-healthy fat and fiber.

Whole-Wheat Veggie Wrap

¼ avocado, mashed

Cheddar cheese

Lay tortilla on work surface. Spread hummus and avocado on the tortilla. Add veggies and Cheddar and roll up. Cut in half before serving.


I like the idea but you should list some suggested veggies or at least describe what was used in the photos.  Is the nutrition information just based on the items included in the recipe?

For example - Mushrooms, cucumber, sprouts, zucchini, shredded carrot, pepper strips, tomato slices ...

this is turning me into a veggie...or at least becoming my go to lunch. i love meat but this is so refreshing. I don't know. There is no heartburn in this sandwich and the carbs are low, so....and I'm losing weight.....all good....
