Step 1

Measure out all of the sauce ingredients into a small bowl and mix thoroughly.

Step 2

Heat a frying pan on a medium heat. Add a small drizzle of oil and add your meat slices. Fry until the surfaces are sealed. (If you decide to use vegetables in the dish, you should cook those first.)

Step 3

Once sealed, add the sauce and fry for 1 minute 30 seconds.

Step 4

Prepare 2 bowls of rice.

Step 5

Turn off the heat and transfer the meat to the top of the rice.

Step 6

Drizzle the leftover sauce in the pan over the meat.

Step 7

Garnish with spring onion and egg (optional).
