In a bowl, add chili powder, turmeric, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, salt and pepper.

Mix together and set aside.

Pat dry the fish.

Add about 1/4 tablespoon of masala and add on to the fish.

Spread it all over the fish.

Flip and repeat.

Repeat for all 4 fillets.

Set the fish aside.

Finely chop the red onion and the garlic cloves.
Step 10
Add the oil to a large pan.
Step 11
Add the onion and garlic to it.
Step 12
Cook for about 2-3 minutes.
Step 13
Add the fish and cook on one side for 3 or so minutes.
Step 14
Flip and cook on the other side for 3 or so minutes.
Step 15
Remove and serve immediately.
