Step 1
Mix the lamb pieces with flour.
Step 2
Put alternating layers of floured lamb and cabbage in a large pot, starting with the lamb pieces at the bottom and ending with the cabbage as the top layer. Drizzle some peppercorn and salt in between.
Step 3
Fill the pot with water or vegetable broth. Cover the pot and bring it to a boil. Turn the heat to low and simmer for about 2 hours or until the lamb is fall-off-the-bone tender.
Step 4
Serve warm with boiled or mashed potatoes.
