Step 1
In a small bowl melt butter in the microwave (usually 30 seconds for me). Whisk in miso paste until mixed.
Step 2
In a nonstick pan over medium-high heat add 1/2 of the butter/miso mixture and the tilapia fillets. Cook 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the tilapia fillets are coked through and browned on both sides. Note: don't flip the fish more than once, otherwise it will fall apart.
Step 3
Sprinkle tilapia with salt while it's cooking if it's desire (I usually just add a pinch, but it's fine without it if using salted butter.)
Step 4
Cook green beans and rice (I use frozen green beans which can be steamed/cooked in the microwave and 90 second rice).
Step 5
Divide rice and beans on plates, top with tilapia fillet, and then drizzle/spoon remaining butter/miso mixture onto the tilapia.
