Slowly whisk in 3 tablespoons of olive oil.Spoon half the vinaigrette onto the salad and toss until evenly coated. Season with salt and pepper and add more dressing if necessary. Divide salad between four plates and nestle sliced steak in and over the leaves. Scatter any bits of nuts and cheese that are remainingin the salad bowl over the top.
