I love not having to wait for the water to boil and not having to wash the pot. I just place my eggs in the air fryer and in 15 minutes they're hard-boiled.

Air Fryer Hard-Boiled Eggs

Preheat an air fryer to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C).


Cook eggs for 15 minutes. Remove eggs and place in a cold water bath until fully cooled, 8 to 10 minutes.


I had doubts but followed the instructions exactly as stated. Eggs turned out amazing. Tried it again and added an additional minute. Second time they were even better. Love that I don't have to wait for water to boil. I even accidently cracked a triangle in the shell on one egg and placed the eggshell back on the egg and  baked it anyhow and it came out perfectly.

It worked very well. I put the eggs in an ice bath for about 10 minutes after they were done. They peeled easily and neatly. It exceeded my expectations.

This is my new hard boiled egg recipe. This is just unbelievable and so easy. I will add another minute to cooking time since I have a 3.5 qt air fryer. I had no trouble peeling the eggs after the ice bath. Thank you so much for this new way of making hard boiled eggs and adding it to my growing wonderful air fryer recipes.

They took longer than 15 mins, and the whites were a little yellow on the outside but tasted great

just made 2 to check and found i'll need another 5 minutes for the yolks. awesome to be able to do this though!!

Used a instant air fryer. I think next time I’ll leave it for an extra two to three minutes more. The Yolk was not totally hard it was semi-soft. But it works fine.

Loved the ease. My only issue is they are difficult to peel.

I am new to the air fryer world.  I'm convinced that the wattage makes a difference.  My air fryer has three different wattage settings.  At the suggestion of others I first tried only two eggs for 15 minutes at the 1500 watt setting.  As always I put them in ice water after cooking.  They were impossible to peel without losing most of the whites.  Then tried 4 eggs at 1800 watts for 15 minutes with the same result.  Think I will stick with my tried and always successful steamed recipe.  It never fails to give perfect results.  All this could be my inexperience with the new air fryer, but can't afford to keep experimenting and wasting the eggs.  Good luck all!

I will make this again, but as written it did not work in my fryer. Eggs were barely soft-boiled, almost raw. I put them in a ramekin and microwaved myself some scrambled eggs. I will try at least 20 minutes next time.
