Export 2 ingredients for grocery delivery
Step 1
Make small diagonal slices on the top and bottom of each hot dog. They should be about ⅛" deep - ¼" deep at most. For a bun-sized dog, you can fit about 10 slices. This is optional, but helps the dogs crisp and I always do it.
Step 2
Place the hot dogs in the Air Fryer and cook at 400 F for 5 minutes. You don't need to grease the grate or preheat the Air Fryer. After 5 minutes are up, open the Air Fryer and carefully place each hot dog into a bun. Place the assembled hot dogs + buns back into the Air Fryer. Air Fry for 2 min.
Step 3
You can either serve your dogs at this point, or add some toppings! I love Chili Cheese Dogs - simply top with chili and a slice of cheese and Air Fry for another 2 minutes and serve.
