Step 1
Place the eggs in the air fryer basket. Set the air fryer to 270°F (132°C) and cook for 16-17 minutes for hard-boiled eggs.
Step 2
Once cooked, immediately transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water to cool. This stops the cooking process and makes peeling easier.
Step 3
After the eggs have cooled, gently peel them. The cooler temperature should help the shell come off more easily.
Step 4
Cut the peeled eggs in half lengthwise. Gently remove the yolks and place them in a mixing bowl.
Step 5
Add mayonnaise, mustard, pickle relish, and vinegar to the yolks. Mash and stir the mixture until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 6
Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the hollows of the egg whites. For a more polished look, you can use a piping bag with a star tip.
Step 7
Sprinkle each deviled egg with paprika for color and added flavor. Optionally, you can also top with a small sprig of dill or parsley for a fresh touch.
Step 8
Refrigerate the deviled eggs for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.
