Easy Air Fryer Bacon and Cream Cheese Stuffed Jalapeno Poppers

jalapenos

oz cream cheese (I used reduced-fat)

cheddar cheese

bacon (cooked and crumbled)

Slice the jalapenos in half, vertically, to create 2 halves per jalapeno.

Place the cream cheese in a bowl. Microwave for 15 seconds to soften.

Remove the seeds and the inside of the jalapeno. (Save some of the seeds if you prefer spicy poppers)

Combine the cream cheese, crumbled bacon, and shredded cheese in a bowl. Mix well.

For extra spicy poppers, add some of the seeds as noted above to the cream cheese mixture, and mix well.

Stuff each of the jalapenos with the cream cheese mixture.

Load the poppers into the Air Fryer. Spray the poppers with cooking oil.

Close the Air Fryer. Cook the poppers on 370 degrees for 5 minutes.

Remove from the Air Fryer and cool before serving.

I used a fry cutter to slice the sweet potatoes. This helped provide more evenly shaped fries which helps with even cook time.

If you use a fry cutter, you will need to soften the potatoes first. They are too hard to cut when completely raw. The instructions on the cutter I used, said to microwave for 1 minute. I had to microwave them for 3-4 minutes to get them soft enough.

Fry Cutter Instructions

Place the sliced sweet potatoes in a large bowl with cold water.&nbsp;Allow the sweet potatoes to soak in the water for an hour.

Remove the sweet potatoes from water and dry completely. Sprinkle the cornstarch throughout.

Sprinkle in the paprika, garlic powder, salt and pepper.

Place the fries in the air fryer basket and spray with olive oil. Do not overcrowd the basket. Cook in batches if necessary. If you see white spots of cornstarch on the fries, spray the area with olive oil.

Adjust the temperature to 380 degrees and cook for 23-25 minutes. Set a timer for 10 minutes and stop and shake the basket at the 10-minute mark (once). Use your judgment. If you like crispy fries, cook them longer and be sure to check on them.

Cool before serving.

Air Fryer Buffalo Cauliflower Wings Recipe

Water

Almond Flour (use more if needed)

Garlic powder

First of all wash the cauliflower in a Kitchen Colander and dry completely. Now core the cauliflower. Remove the hard stem and leaves from the bottom. Further cut it into medium bite size florets. Set them aside in a bowl.

Preparing the Cauliflower

Take a Mixing Bowl and beat the egg with 2 tbsp water lightly. In another Mixing Bowl, mix Almond Flour, Garlic Powder, Paprika, salt &amp; pepper.

Now dip florets with Kitchen Tongs (one at a time) into egg mixture and then coat in the almond flour mix. Note - be careful while coating in almond flour since almond flour tends to clump fast. If you are using All Purpose flour then roll these in the APF mix. 

Now transfer these coated florets on a clean plate. And line the basket of Air fryer with the Air fryer Parchment Paper.

When ready to air fry, transfer these coated cauliflower florets in a single layer in the air fryer basket lined with parchment paper. Spray with oil on top. Air fry at 390*F for 12 minutes. Flip in between at about 7-8 minutes for even cooking.

Breading Cauliflower for Air-frying

Meanwhile the cauliflower florets are cooking, prepare the Buffalo sauce. Combine butter and Frank&#39;s Hot Sauce in a Frying Pan over the heat. Cook till butter melts. It’s ready to be dipped.

Once the cauliflower wings are cooked, toss them in the hot sauce. And place back in the air fryer. Air fry for 2-3 minutes more for the sauce to cook on top of it. It adds to the texture of the wings.

Serving Suggestion

Make sure not to over-crowd the air fryer basket. If you crowd it, the cauliflower bites will turn out soggy. This is why you want to cook the cauliflower in small batches with space in between for even air-flow. Every air fryer model is different. The time can vary by 1-2 minutes depending upon the model. 

Tips for Air Fryer Buffalo Cauliflower Wings

Yes you can. Bake these in the oven at 450*F for 15-20 minutes. Flip in between for even cooking. Dip in Buffalo Sauce and broil for 1-2 minutes. Serve hot with ranch and celery sticks on the side.

Pounds split chicken wings

Tbsps all purpose flour

Tbsp corn starch

Mix the flour, corn starch, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper and salt in a small bowl.

Place the chicken in a large bowl and add half of the flour mixture.  Toss to coat, wait 5 minutes, then add the remaining flour mixture and toss again.

Place the chicken in the air fryer basket or tray in a single layer.  A bit of overlap is ok.

Lightly spray with olive oil spray then place the basket in the air fryer and set to 380°F for 23-25 minutes.  Half way through the cook time shake or turn the wings.

When the timer is almost complete, melt the butter in a small bowl in the microwave or in a saucepan on the stove.  Add the seasonings and parmesan cheese and whisk to combine.

When the chicken has finished cooking remove from the air fryer and place the wings in a large bowl.  Pour the butter over the wings and toss until the chicken is well coated.

Sprinkle with additional parmesan cheese, if desired and serve.

Honey garlic sauce- Start by combining the honey, soy sauce, garlic, apple cider vinegar, worcestershire sauce, sesame oil, water and cornstarch in a pot. Heat on medium-low heat, and whisk until the cornstarch is smooth, and the mixture bubbles and thickens.

Batter

Batter &amp; breading- Arrange two medium-sized bowls.a) In the first bowl, mix together the flour, salt, garlic and onion powder. Add the milk to the flour mixture, and stir until smooth.b) in the second bowl, add the Panko.Working in batches, mix the cauliflower florets in the batter until completely coated, shake of excess batter, then toss in the Panko to coat. Transfer to a clean plate and repeat with the rest of the cauliflower.

Cook

Air fry- Heat your air fryer to 400°F, and allow to preheat for least 5 minutes. Add the cauliflower to the basket- it can be touching but should not overlap. Cook for 5 minutes, then flip and shake the basket. Cook for an additional 2-5 minutes, or until cauliflower is evenly golden and crispy.

Coat in sauce- Once cauliflower has been cooked through, dip the cauliflower in the sauce, shake off excess, and transfer to a serving plate. If your sauce has been sitting for a long time, you will want to warm it through before doing this step.

Serve

Garnishes- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions, and serve immediately!

Mashed Potatoes (Approximately 3-4 medium potatoes to make 2 cups mashed)

Slices of Cooked Bacon (Crumbled or Bacon Bits)

Blend mashed potatoes with sour cream, crumbled bacon, cheese, chives, salt, and black pepper.

Place approximately 1 teaspoon of mixture onto a wonton wrapper. Fill a small bowl with lukewarm water. Moisten the edges of the wonton wrapper by dipping your finger in the water and running it along the edges of the wrapper. Try to get as close to the edge as possible.

Fold one corner of the wrapper to the opposite corner to form a triangle. Press all the edges together, being careful not to tear the wrapper. Repeat this step until all wrappers are filled. Place in the freezer for 1 hour.

Preheat air fryer to 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes. Remove wontons from the freezer. Brush each wrapper with canola or vegetable oil. Once preheated, spray the basket with oil and place wontons inside. Cook for 10 minutes, flipping halfway until they are golden on both sides.

Line a small baking tray with parchment paper.

Cut the log of goat cheese in half lengthwise, then cut each half into 10 equal pieces.

Roll each piece of goat cheese into a ball, using your hands.

Place the balls, spaced apart, on the prepared baking tray.

Put the tray in the freezer until the cheese balls are frozen hard, 20-30 minutes.

Set up your breading station: put the flour, beaten egg, and panko into three separate bowls. Place the bowls in the above order in a row. Add a plate to the end of the row.
