Step 1

To make the bread dough - I put the water sugar, and yeast in a bowl and let it set for about 5 minutes. It will start to bubble up and then you know you are good to go on making the dough. If it doesn't bubble up, let it set a few more minutes, till it does.

Step 2

Next you will add your salt, vegetable oil into the yeast mix, and mix. I used my KitchenAid Stand Mixer

Step 3

and the dough hook. You will then add a cup at a time to the dough till it forms into a ball. Depending on where you live you might have to add a little extra water or flour to the mixture like me, for it to form a normal ball. The dough shouldn't be super sticky and should form a ball nicely.

Step 4

Once dough is done, grease the bowl, and put dough back in and allow to rise for around 1 hour in a warm spot. Once dough has risen, you will tear it in half, and roll out the dough into a big rectangle, on a floured surface.

Step 5

Once you have the first half of dough rolled out, you will take the melted butter and spread over the dough, leaving about 1 inch around the sides. Take your brown sugar mixture and pour half of the mixture over the dough and spread evenly. The other half of filling will go for the other dough you have set aside.

Step 6

After that is spread evenly you will start to roll the dough up tightly. Once rolled, start to cut dough into equal parts. I got around 15 rolls from the dough.

Step 7

Put the sliced rolls into a greased 9x13 pan. Allow to rise for about 20 minutes. Place in a 350 degree oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes.

Step 8

Right before rolls are done mix up your icing. I made mine a bit thicker, and then once rolls came out, I spread evenly over the rolls. It melted some and really made the rolls taste delicious!

Step 9

Depending on thickness of rolls cooking time could vary. Cook until light brown and dough is cooked through.

Step 10

Now repeat with steps to make another set of rolls. You can freeze them or cook them now.
