Step 1

In a small sauce pan on medium heat, add in the coconut oil. Once hot, add in the apples and sauté for about 5 minutes, until the apple soften and are fragrant.

Step 2

Add in the oats and sauté for about 2 minutes to gently toast them.

Step 3

Add in the water, and turn up the heat to bring to a boil. Mix in the cinnamon. Once the oatmeal is at a gentle boil, turn down the heat and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring frequently (use a porridge spurtle for best the best stir).

Step 4

Serve immediately with your favorite toppings.
