Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9-inch by 13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.

Step 2

In a medium bowl, whisk together the cake mix, cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice. Set aside.

Step 3

Pour both cans of apple pie filling into the baking dish. Spread to an even thickness.

Step 4

Sprinkle the cake mix mixture over the top of the apples in an even layer.

Step 5

Spread the melted butter over the cake mix. NOTE: be sure to cover the entire mix or there will be dry mix after baking.

Step 6

In a small bowl, combine the oats and brown sugar.

Step 7

Sprinkle the oats over the top of the cake mix and butter.

Step 8

Bake in the preheated oven for 50 to 55 minutes, until the crust is golden brown and the apples are bubbling.

Step 9

Allow to cool slightly before serving. Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top!
