Step 1

Peel and cut up the apples. Remove the core and seeds. Cut them into bite size pieces

Step 2

Warm up the butter in a sauce pan. Add apples, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon and water. Cook on low heat for 10 minutes or until apples are soft and tender.

Step 3

Dust the working space with little flour and then roll thawed puff pastry into 3 parts. Cut into your desired shape – square, rectangle, round or triangle.

Step 4

Spoon cooked apple mixture over the cut pastry pieces.

Grease the air fryer basket with oil spray. or use a perforated aluminum foil or parchment paper as liner.

Step 6

Arrange the puff pastry pieces with apple filling in a single layer.

Step 7

Air fry at 375 degree Fahrenheit for 10-12 minutes checking halfway through. Pastry will puff up and get golden brown when ready.

Step 8

Serve warm.

Apple pie puff pastries can also be baked. You’ll need to pre-heat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and cook them for 10-15 minutes or until they become golden brown in color on top. Then remove from the oven and serve promptly.

Instant Pot using a Air fryer lid/ Crisp Lid:Arrange the prepared pastry puffs in a single layer on the basket. Place the basket on a trivet. Cover and secure the Instant Pot with the Air Fryer Lid.Cook the pastries for 8-10 minutes at 190 C (375 F) until the pastries are golden brown in color. Check halfway.
