Wash and dry oranges.
Step 2
Peel oranges using potato peeler to use only orange zest without white layer that adds bitterness.
Step 3
Place orange zest into clean glass jar, big enough to pour alcohol and cover.
Step 4
Let the jar stay aside for 21 days. Avoid direct sunlight and shake occasionally.
Step 5
On 21st day, pour alcohol through a metal sieve to catch orange zest. You will get beautiful orange coloured alcohol. Leave aside.
Step 6
In medium sized pot, on medium heat, stir water and sugar until sugar is dissolved. The mixture does not have to boil. Let it cool completely.
Step 7
Pour alcohol into the sugary water, stir and pour into glass bottles.
Step 8
Rest Arancello for 15 days before comsuming.
