Step 1
Make the Easy BBQ Ribs up until the point where they come out of the oven as we aren’t grilling the ribs for this recipe. Let the ribs cool slightly until you can handle the meat. It will be easier to remove the bones and shred the meat when they’re still warm, so don’t let the ribs cool completely. (See note*)
Step 2
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Step 3
Remove the bones, shred the meat and place in an oven proof dish. Add the barbecue sauce and stir to coat the meat. Cover and bake in the oven for 20 minutes, just until the meat is warmed through.
Step 4
Add the meat to sub rolls with sliced pickles and serve.
