Export 3 ingredients for grocery delivery
Step 1
Add rice cereal and 3 cups marshmallows to a large mixing bowl; set aside.
Step 2
Line a 13x9 baking pan with aluminum foil or parchment paper then rub with butter (can spray with cooking spray too); set aside. This step is optional - it just makes things easier to cut and remove from pan.
Step 3
Melt butter over low heat in a large pot. Once butter is melted, add remaining marshmallows, vanilla and salt. Cook and stir over low heat until marshmallows are completely melted.
Step 4
Pour marshmallow mixture into bowl with cereal and marshmallows then gently stir until cereal is evenly coated.
Step 5
Spread mixture evenly into prepared pan. Using a rubber spatula or the bottom of a second pan, press the mixture into the pan. Let treats cool to room temperature uncovered.
Step 6
Once set, remove from pan by lifting up on the aluminum foil then cut into squares. Store in an air-tight container.
Step 7
Consider adding sprinkles for seasonal treats or just for fun!
