Export 11 ingredients for grocery delivery
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a medium size dish with cooking spray, I used a 6X12 size rectangle dish. I had to switch to the larger size 6X12 dish instead of the 9X9, because I had more filling than I originally thought.
Step 2
Add peeled and sliced apples to a medium size bowl with lemon juice, then toss to coat evenly.
Step 3
In a separate medium bowl, add Bisquick, with sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg , butter & eggs. Beat till well blended.
Step 4
Pour apples into the batter, and stir to blend till all the apples are completely coated on all sides.
Step 5
Pour into prepared dish.
Step 6
Now combine all of the ingredients for the crunchy topping in a medium bowl.
Step 7
Crumble mixture over the top of the apple mixture.
Step 8
Bake in preheated 350 degrees F. oven for 50 to 55 minutes, till apples are tender, and mixture is hot & bubbly.
Step 9
Serve with whipped topping or your favorite ice cream if desired. The original version of this recipe came from a Bisquick Cookbook, before I made changes for this version.
