Step 1
Prepare the Custard; First whisk the eggs in a medium size bowl until smooth. Then whisk in the remaining custard ingredients until combined.

Add Butter to a Preheated Pan; Preheat the pan to 365°F/185°C (medium). Add some of the butter and melt completely.
Step 3
Prepare the French Toast and Begin Cooking; Quickly dip two pieces of the bread in the custard to lightly coat both sides, then place them in the pan. Cook the first side for 4 minutes.
Step 4
Flip the French Toast and Finish Cooking ; Use a spatula to carefully flip both slices of toast. Cook for 4 minutes.
Step 5
Remove the French Toast; Transfer the cooked french toast from the pan to a tray or plate. You can hold the french toast in the oven set to its lowest temperature to keep warm. Before cooking another batch of french toast, wipe the pan and repeat the cooking process.
Step 6
Serve Immediately; Serve with powdered sugar, butter and syrup or your favorite french toast topping.
