1 Shred the cabbage using a food processor, mandolin slicer or a sharp knife.

Step 2

2 Place a large skillet over medium heat. Add butter.

Step 3

3 Add the cabbage and sauté for at least 15 minutes, stirring from time to time, until the cabbage is wilted and golden brown around the edges.

Step 4

4 Lower the heat a little towards the end. Salt and pepper to taste.
