Chicken and Bows

(16 ounces) bow tie pasta

chicken

sweet red pepper

butter, cubed

each) condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted

2% milk

This is a great versatile recipe. I've made it for years. I use 1 can of cream of chicken soup and 1 can of cream of celery. I omit the cheese because I don't like the flavor. I often times serve it over rice or open faced biscuits. (my favorite).I use leftover roasted chicken and prefer it shredded.Either way, a family favorite.

Very easy to make and delicious. I made this the other night and cut the recipe in half, it was still good. I didn’t add as much Parmesan. I froze the leftovers. Looking forward to enjoying them soon!

This was a very easy and great tasting. I had made some pressure cooked boneless chicken thighs & breast in the morning. Then when I got home after work I made this dish. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed this recipe. It was creamy and we liked the flavor. I added the pepper flakes and extra ground pepper to mine  and I think that helped. I halved the recipe and still had leftovers for two people so take note of the freezer instructions if you make the full recipe. I cut the chicken into bite size chunks rather than strips. I could see this being a great way to use up any leftover chicken from other meals.

I used just 1 can of cream of chicken soup,  2-1/2 cup bow tie pasta, grated cheese BLEND,  1 red pepper, chopped; the milk, butter, peas,  salt, pepper, garlic powder were kept as it is! Chicken was cut in small chunks, rather than strips! This is a real recipe keeper! Thank you for sharing!

Got home had bow ties and decided to google chicken and bow ties.  Picked this recipe and actually had all the ingredients.  Was able to prepare and eat in 45 minutes.  I don’t have a Dutch oven so fixed the chicken another way.  Very good recipe!  Easy, fast AND good!!!

This was really good!  Made it for dinner tonight - cut the recipe in half and it turned out great.  I'll be making this again!

Very  good. Didn't have peas so I used fresh chopped broccoli and different shaped pasta  of choice.

This is a dinner to be made only for me.  My husband did not like it.  I did!  I halved the recipe, and it still made a lot.  Needed lots of salt and pepper.  My kind of comfort food.  Oh, and don't use cheap chicken.  I keep buying that generic stuff at Kroger and it's always rubbery.  I don't think it's my cooking......but maybe.

LOVE this dish!  The only changes I made were adding fresh garlic and essence, replacing one can of chicken with cheddar, and using canned peas because it’s what I had on hand. Quick and easy!  Creamy and delicious!  A definite keeper!

I made this meal for my family and not only was it easy but even my picky eaters loved it. There was enough to have to meals so we ate one that night and put the other in the freezer. I may add bacon next time!

I made this recipe for last night's supper---very tasty! I READ the recipe, as I always do beforehand, to determine if I should change anything in regard to my family's food preferences. As a result, I added more garlic powder, added onion powder and a chopped medium onion, a teaspoon of chicken bouillon granules and about 1/4 cup of white wine to the mixture. All other ingredients I kept as stated. I did halve the recipe, though, as there were just three of us at supper, and I had no room in the freezer to store another casserole.When I prepare this again---and I assuredly will--I'm going to add sliced, sauteed mushrooms.

There was no flavor to this.  I will not make it again.  A waste of ingredients.

Needed more flavor definately!  Was good but nothing to rave about.

We have 6-8 people we cook for every night and when we make this recipe we all agree! Very good, but I would like to add more cheese .

We love it!  I made some changes.  I boiled the chicken breast with seasoning and shredded.  Then followed the rest of the instructions and Added 1/2 cup milk and another can of condensed soup.  So it's not so dry.

Not a bad recipe. Needs something more though, maybe more cheese. Just ok

Wonderful the only thing I did different was add canned chicken and it turned out great.  Makes a huge batch so I 1/2 the recipe.

My children just LOVED this recipe! I sautéed a clove of garlic in the butter for 30 seconds before adding the red pepper and chicken. I also added 1/2 cup onion in with the pepper and chicken. I seasoned the chicken with seasoning salt and omitted the salt in the recipe. I omitted the garlic powder since I used fresh garlic. I also omitted the Parmesan cheese. It was very delicious!

I made this recipe as stated and really liked it! Yes, it doesn't have strong, bold flavors as other reviewers have commented, but sometimes that's ok, and in this case, I think it turned out fine. It was a quick, easy meal that was tasty on a busy work night. Will make again for sure!

Very easy to make. Might add chopped carrots next time. I omitted the butter, subbed fat free milk and reduced fat soup.
