Preheat the oven in 200 C

In a large bowl, add the spices and yogurt and mix it together with the chicken.

Once the chicken is well marinated, transfer into the oven and let it bake for 30 minutes

While the chicken is baking, start cooking the rice in a separate pot.

Add a tablespoon of olive oil in the pot. Once it is hot, add the uncooked rice. Give a quick stir for few minutes.

In a separate glass, mix turmeric with water before transferring into the pot. Stir to mix.

Add more water in the pot. Let it simmer for 15 to 20 minutes until the water fully evaporate and the rice is fully cook.

If the chicken is done, remove it from the oven and let it cool down. Chopped the chicken into small pieces for later serving.

Add a drop of olive oil in the pan. Once it is hot, add onion and give a quick stir for few minutes or till it become light brown.
Step 10
Add the yellow rice in the pan and stir to mix. Add salt and black pepper to season the rice.
Step 11
Serve the spiced yellow rice with raw vegetables and chopped chicken. Drizzle with white sauce and hot sauce (optional).
