Chocolate Garbage Cake

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2

Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Step 3

Evenly sprinkle the dry cake mix into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.

Step 4

Evenly sprinkle the dry pudding mix over top of the cake mix.

Step 5

Sprinkle 1 3/4 cups of the chocolate chips on top of the dry pudding mix.

Step 6

Drizzle the milk over the chocolate chips and gently stir to combine; the mixture will appear thick and lumpy.

Step 7

Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips over the cake batter.

Step 8

Bake the cake until the top appears set and the edges pull away from the dish, about 35-40 minutes.

Step 9

Transfer the dish to a wire rack and let the cake cool slightly.

Step 10

Slice and serve warm.
