Step 1
Cut the cinnamon bread into 1 to 2 inch slices, depending on how thick you want your sticks to be (skip this step if you're using bread that's already sliced). Then cut each slice into 3 or 4 sticks.

Add the milk, eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla extract, and salt to a medium bowl. Whisk until combined.

Heat a griddle or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add butter and let it melt, distributing it evenly around the cooking surface.

Dip each stick in the milk and egg mixture and place onto the griddle or skillet. Cook for 30 seconds and then flip the sticks. Repeat until all four sides are cooked.

(Optional) Cover a plate with a cinnamon and sugar (1-1 ratio). Roll each hot stick in the cinnamon and sugar until coated.
Step 6
For the glaze, combine melted butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and orange juice in a small bowl. Gradually add the milk, until the glaze reaches your desired consistency.
Step 7
Top the french toast sticks with powdered sugar, if desired. Serve the glaze in small bowls for dipping. Enjoy!
