Step 1

Scrub and clean potatoes. Cut the potatoes into fries by cutting them 1/4 inch lengthwise and then cut into fries. Feel free to peel them if you don't like the skin.

Step 2

Place them in a bowl with ice water. This helps remove some of the starch which helps to get them crispy when they cook. Let them soak for 30 minutes up to 2 hours.

Step 3

Remove from water and pat dry.

Step 4

Place fries in a bowl and toss with olive oil, salt and pepper.

Step 5

Pour the fries into air fryer basket. Try spreading them out into a single layer to ensure they cook evenly.

Step 6

Cook at 390 degrees F for 10 minutes. Shake the basket and cook another 7-10 minutes. Be sure to keep checking on the fries. Each air fryer will cook a little different so you want to make sure they don't burn.

Step 7

Mix the seasonings together in a bowl while fries are cooking. Carefully remove the French fries and immediately season with Wingstop seasoning.

Step 8

Clean potatoes, cut into fries. Place fries in cold water for at least 30 minutes.

Step 9

Remove potatoes from water and pat driy.

Step 10

Pour 2-3 inches of vegetable oil in a large pot or Dutch oven. Heat oil to 325 degrees F. Place half of the cut potatoes into the pot and cook for 5 minutes. Remove and place on a paper towel lined plate. Add the remainder of the cut potatoes and cook 5 minute, remove.

Step 11

Place the cooked fries back in the hot oil and cook again for 2-3 minutes.

Step 12

Carefully remove and place on another paper towel lined plate.Toss fries in seasoning mix.
