Combine the pecans and chives in a shallow dish or plate. Use a piece of plastic wrap or parchment paper to shape the cream cheese mixture into a ball. Roll the ball in the pecan mixture, pressing until the entire cheese ball is coated. Refrigerate until ready to serve, at least 1 hour or up to overnight. Serve with crackers.
