These easy bites are perfect for literally any occasion. We love their little pretzel handles, but feel free to leave them out! ﻿ If preparing them the night before, refrigerate until 1 hour before serving, then remove from fridge and let come to room temperature.

I have made these twice. Everyone loved them. Make sure to add the pretzels just before serving. Otherwise they get soggy   I used 12oz cream cheese

I have made this in a large cheeseball version but with 2 packages of cream cheese,  allot more garlic (fresh), and half a package of ranch dip mix mixed in. Sooooo good and never any leftovers. Depending on how many people are going to be at your event I would recommend doubling the recipes because it goes like wildfire.

Mine turned out exactly like the picture.  They were just awful.  The entire platter of them - minus some random bites - went into the garbage at end of night.  Pretty disappointing.

Tasty but the recipe leaves 1/2 of an 8oz block of cream cheese unused. Use two 8 oz blocks and l increase the shredded cheddar to 2 cups (white sharp preferred as the paprika adds enough color). I also mixed in finely chopped green onion and dried cranberries into the cheese mix before rolling into balls to add extra flavor to the cheese. Chopped dried cranberries are too gooey to add to the rolling mixture. Even before the increase in cheese, the recipe makes way more that 18 balls. Unless you are serving a football team, roll them into 1” size balls, plenty for 3-4 crackers each.  Enjoy!

This Classic Cheese Ball recipe makes the perfect party appetizer. A cheese ball made with cheddar cheese, cream cheese, green onion and spices, and coated in chopped pecans.

Classic Cheeseball

cream cheese (, softened)

cheddar cheese ((avoid pre-shredded cheese))

green onion (, chopped)

Worcestershire sauce

hot pepper sauce

parsley flakes

oregano leaves

pecans (, finely chopped)

Place cream cheese in a mixing bowl and mix until smooth. Add cheese, green onion, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, parley, garlic powder, oregano and pepper and mix well to combine.&nbsp;

Use a rubber spatula to scrape the sides of the bowl and gather the mixture into one lump. Lightly grease your hands and form the mixture into a round ball. 

Place the pecans on a plate. Hold the cheese ball in one hand and use the other hand to scoop the pecans onto the outside of the ball, pressing them in gently and turning the ball to coat all sides. 

Cover the cheeseball in cling wrap and refrigerate for about 1 hour to allow it to firm up.  Take it out of the refrigerator about 20 minutes before serving to allow it to soften just slightly.  Serve with crackers, pretzels, vegetables or anything else you&#x27;d love to dip in cheese!

This Everything Bagel Cheese Ball recipe is a great appetizer that&#039;s deliciously rich and flavorful.

Everything Bagel Cheese Ball

oz white cheddar cheese

oz cream cheese (softened)

.5 oz package fresh chives* (sliced (1/4 cup))

tsp chipotle pepper

cayenne pepper

tbsp everything bagel seasoning

crackers (for serving)

Food processor instructions: Using the shredding blade, shred the cheddar cheese.

Leave the cheddar in the food processor container, but switch to the standard processing blade. Add the cream cheese, sliced chives, ground chipotle, and cayenne pepper.

Process the ingredients until everything is combined, about 1 minute. You may need to stop to scrape down the sides if the ingredients clump too much.

Scrape the mixture on to a piece of plastic wrap and use the plastic to shape the cheese into a ball. Refrigerate for one hour until firm.

When ready to serve, place the everything bagel mix on a plate, unwrap the cheese ball, and roll to coat the outside. Serve with crackers, and enjoy!

No food processor? Shred the cheese using a handheld shredder, and combine everything else with a hand mixer, or by hand with a wooden spoon. Place the mixture on the plastic wrap and continue as directed above.

In a large skillet, on medium-low heat, cook your bacon until crisp (this can take anywhere between 10 to 15 minutes). Once cooked, drain your bacon on a paper towel lined plate. Once cooled, chop your bacon then set aside.

In a large bowl, with a rubber spatula, combine the cream cheese, ranch dressing, garlic powder, kosher salt, black pepper and 2 tablespoons chopped chives. Cream together until smooth and all the ingredients are evenly incorporated. 

Add the finely shredded cheddar cheese and ½ cup of the bacon crumbles. Gently fold them into the cream cheese mixture until all the ingredients are completely combined.

On a large plate add the remaining ¼ cup bacon crumbles, 1 tablespoon chopped chives and the finely chopped walnuts. Gently mix them all together then spread them out in an even layer on your plate. This will make it easier to roll and coat your cheese ball.

While your cream cheese mixture is still in the bowl, take your rubber spatula and gently form it into a large ball.

Very carefully place your cheese ball onto your plate with your walnut mixture. Using your hands gently press the walnut coating all over the outside of your cheese ball. You can roll your cheese ball around on your plate to make sure that all sides are evenly coated.

Wrap your cheese ball in plastic wrap and place on a plate, in the refrigerator, to chill for 4 hours prior to serving.

Party worthy cheese ball filled with all of your favorite jalapeno popper flavors like crispy smoked bacon, zesty minced jalapenos, sharp cheddar, smooth cream cheese and sweet green onions

Jalapeno Popper Cheese Ball

boxes (8 ounces) cream cheese

cheddar cheese (reserve ½ cup)

crispy cooked bacon chopped (reserve half)

jalapenos minced (reserve half)

Using a stand or hand mixer on medium speed beat your cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder and black pepper until smooth and creamy.  Turn to low and mix in 1 1/2 cups of cheddar cheese, half of the chopped bacon, half of the minced jalapeno, and half of the chopped green onions. Combine your reserved cheddar, bacon, jalapenos and green onions in a small zipper storage bag and store in the refrigerator.

Lay out a large piece of plastic wrap on a counter top.  Spoon the cheese into a ball shape and bring up the sides of the plastic wrap to cover the cheese ball.  Utilize the wrapping process to help shape the cheese into a ball.  Refrigerate the cheese ball overnight.

Remove the cheese ball about 20 minutes prior to serving.  Spread your reserved cheddar, bacon, jalapenos and green onions on a cutting board or large plate.  Unwrap the ball and roll in the reserved toppings.

We were planning a happy hour and I saw the recipe. I decided it looked perfect. I made it and instead of a ball, I made it into a cheese log to cut easier. It was perfect!!!  This will be a staple of my party planning in the future.

Made this on Monday and had for Thanksgiving on Thursday.  I left out the chopped onions as my family is not a fan.  They all loved it!  I made it into 2 balls and they fought over the leftovers to take home with them.  Will make this again for the Christmas holidays.

The easiest and absolute BEST cheese ball recipe. Cream cheese with Ranch, bacon bits, nuts, and cheese - so GOOD! Serve the cheese ball as an appetizer for potlucks and around the Holidays.

oz bacon (chopped, divided)

oz cream cheese (room temp)

Mexican cheese (shredded (4 cheese blend))

walnuts (chopped and divided)

Tbsp Ranch seasoning

¼ tsp ground black pepper

tsp poppyseeds (divided)

Cut bacon into small pieces and sauté until cooked. Once cooled, set aside 1/4 of the bacon for the topping.

In a bowl, add 3/4 of the bacon, 1/4 cup sour cream, 16 oz cream cheese, 1/2 cup four-cheese blend, 1 cup cheddar cheese, 3 Tbsp green onions, 1/4 cup walnuts, 3 Tbsp Ranch seasoning, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/4 tsp pepper, and 1 tsp poppy seeds. With a wooden spatula, mix all ingredients until well combined.

Finely chop the remaining 1/4 of bacon, 1/4 cup cheddar cheese, 1 Tbsp green onion, and 1/4 cup walnuts. Mix together with the 1/4 tsp poppy seed. Spread this mixture onto a cutting board.

Form a ball out of the cheese mixture and roll the cheese ball over the toppings to fully coat and shape into an even ball as it&#x27;s coated. Serve right away or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

One of the best things about cheese it that it can easily be molded into log form -- and foods shaped like logs always mean that you're in for a good time. This version balances the nuttiness of Swiss and the pungency of blue with sweet dates and smoky bacon. If logs aren't your thing, you can always roll this into a ball; if you're absolutely no fun whatsoever, just serve it in a dip bowl.
