In a dry skillet over medium heat add the quartered mushrooms in a single layer (this might take a few batches...don't over crowd the pan)

Once mushrooms have started to brown add salt and allow them to “sweat”

Bring the sauce to a low simmer stir constantly

Cook until sauce has thickened, about 3-4 minutes
