Step 1

Add olive oil to a clean large saucepan

Step 2

Heat - medium heat

Step 3

Add onion and garlic to the large saucepan

Step 4

Sauté until soft - approx 5 min

Step 5

Add red wine and canned tomatoes to the large saucepan

Step 6

Heat until simmering

Step 7

Add water to the large saucepan

Step 8

Heat until simmering while stirring occasionally

Step 9

Add heavy cream, kosher salt and black pepper to the large saucepan

Step 10

Simmer and turn off heat - 5 min

Step 11

Mix in golden balsamic vinegar to the large saucepan

Step 12

Blend until smooth

Step 13

Serve
