Step 1

Add the cucumber slices to a cocktail shaker and muddle them (gently mash) to release the juices.

Step 2

Add the gin or cucumber vodka, lime juice, and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker. Fill it with ice and shake until cold.

Step 3

Strain the drink into glass. If desired, add a splash of soda water. Garnish with a lime wedge or cucumber slice and serve.
