Export 2 ingredients for grocery delivery
Step 1
Add peeled garlic cloves to fill a quart-size jar.
Step 2
Add salt to the jar.
Step 3
Fill the jar with water.
Step 4
Cap the jar and leave to ferment at room temperature for 3 to 5 days, burping the jar at least once every 24 hours.
Step 5
When done, store in the refrigerator and use as you would fresh cloves of garlic.
