Step 1

Prepare the shrimp. Clean it, and pat it dry with clean paper towels. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 2

Add the oil and butter to a large skillet. Heat them over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 1 to 2 minutes. Then flip the shrimp and add the garlic and (optional) red pepper flakes. Stir and cook until fragrant.

Step 3

Then, add the chicken broth (or wine) and cook for another 1 to 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

Step 4

Remove the skillet from the heat. Then, squeeze in the lemon juice and sprinkle the parsley over the top. Stir well.

Step 5

Serve while warm, and enjoy!
