Step 1

Beat the eggs with the sugar and vanilla sugar with a mixer until whitened. Add the oil and milk, beat again on a lower setting this time, to prevent spraying.

Step 2

Start adding the flour in several lots - after you've sifted it. Next add in the baking powder, cinnamon and pinch of salt.

Step 3

Wash 2 apples, cut them into small cubes. Add them to the mixture.

Step 4

Pour the cake mixture into an oiled and floured 9 1/2″ (24 cm) form with removable walls.

Step 5

Cut the other 2 apples into thin slices and arrange on top of the mixture.

Step 6

Sprinkle apple cake with the brown sugar, which you've mixed with 1 packet vanilla sugar.

Step 7

Bake at 360°F (180 °C) for about 50 min.
