Step 1
Start by peeling firm ripe bananas and cut them into about ½-inch thick slices or desired shapes.
Step 2
Heat up the skillet over medium heat. Add butter, sugar, and cinnamon, and let the butter melt.
Step 3
As soon as the butter melts, add bananas in a single layer. Cook for 1-2 minutes or until golden brown. Then flip and cook for about another minute.
Step 4
Remove the pan from the heat before adding the rum. Be careful because it might flare.
Step 5
Put the pan back on the heat and cook for another minute.
Step 6
Remove from heat and serve immediately with caramel sauce, ice cream, and/or coconut flakes.
