Step 1
In a blender or small food processor, purée all of the ingredients until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 2
In a shallow dish, place the flour. In a second shallow dish, lightly beat the egg with the milk. In a third shallow dish, combine the breadcrumbs and sesame seeds.
Step 3
Dredge the halloumi cubes in the flour, shaking off any excess. Dip into the egg mixture, letting some of the excess drip off. Press into the breadcrumb mixture to coat well.
Step 4
In a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat, brown half of the cheese at a time in half of the oil for 1 to 2 minutes on each side. Add more oil as needed. Drain on a plate lined with paper towels.
Step 5
Spread the halloumi cubes out in a serving dish. Serve with the roasted pepper spread.
