Export 3 ingredients for grocery delivery
Step 1
Preheat the oil in the deep fryer to 320 degrees
Step 2
Cut each pie crust into quarters. I found that a pizza cutter made it easier.
Step 3
Spoon a dollop of lemon pie filling onto each quarter of the pie crust.
Step 4
Fold each quarter in half over the filling.
Step 5
Press the edges closed with your fingers to seal.
Step 6
Drop each pie down into the deep fryer for about 2 minutes or until light golden brown. I found that having the basket down and dropping the pie over the basket made the process easier.
Step 7
Garnish with a light to heavy dusting of powdered sugar.
Step 8
Serve and Enjoy!
